Welcome to Quincy Catholic Academy, a Preschool (three-year old) through Grade Eight elementary school offering a faith-filled, value-based education with a lifelong impact. Founded in January 2010, the Academy will provide an excellent curriculum for the 21st century student, incorporating a state-of-the-art technology center and science lab. The Academy will strive to create an atmosphere where community in Christ is experienced, Gospel message is proclaimed, and thanksgiving to and worship of God is reverently and joyfully celebrated. QCA New Playground!
The construction of our new playground is complete!!! The students "christened" the area this week (we couldn't wait!), but we will have an official blessing and ribbon cutting ceremony within a few weeks. But we are sooo excited and thrilled with the new playground... it's amazing!!!

Apple TV and iPad
With the integration of the iPad and Apple TV into the classrooms, teachers and students at Quincy Catholic Academy have discovered the many ways that teaching and learning can be enhanced! Whether using apps from the App Store, streaming a video clip from an educational website, or researching a current event on the Internet; teachers can provide students with an interactive, engaging, and individualized learning experience.

Google Chromebooks
Through a generous grant from the Lynch Foundation, Quincy Catholic Academy purchased two portable Chromebook stations. Chromebooks are perfect for the classroom - simple to use, built-in virus protection, long battery-life, and the Chrome Web Store offers thousands of free educational apps and tools to enhance the learning experience.
SMART Boards®
Interactive SMART Boards® have been installed in all middle school classrooms. Teachers can create interactive lessons with SMART Notebook collaborative learning software or download free educational resources on the SMART Exchage website to make teaching and learning engaging and fun!
